Hammarby Sjöstad

Hammarby Sjöstad is situated in south of Stockholm close to water in front of Södermalm. This district, perhaps its aspect is recent and not finished. We are in an old shanty town and during a long time the city council did not what to do for it. Stockholm was candidate for Olympic Game of 2004 and for this occasion started to think changes for this district. Sweden is often associated to a country in advance for environmental issues. Stockholm is a green town. It is true and Nationalstadsparken is responsible to a great part by it size. New place, other age for this famous Swedish building… We are in the South of Stockholm and not in the municipality of Stockholm. Stockholm Globe City is composed by the Globen Arena for the most well-known but also by the Globen Shopping Centre.
